From its origin in 2016 by Atlanta entrepreneur Sha Battle, Black Women’s History Month is a way to uplift and support the achievements of Black and minority women of the diaspora, especially those not traditionally taught in schools.
This month’s Community Spotlight is entitled “She Persisted and Prevailed”. Its goal is to motivate and educate our Bounce Community on the contributions made by Black women through unsurmountable challenges.

We do this because we all owe so much to the fearless, compassionate and resourceful Black women who have enhanced our lives and made the world a better place.
